Adaptation Futures, a global conference series on climate adaptation research and practice, has no 2026 edition; the next confirmed installment is set for 2027 in Cancún. A 2025 regional hub in New York City linked international adaptation scholars with U.S. practitioners, in person and virtually, around topics such as insurance informed by climate science and nature-based approaches to resilience.
